New Hope?

Aite, boys and girls. Something just came up and I need a little input... I'm not really sure buuutt... Maybe I'm jumping ahead of myself, here's what happened:

I hang out with my pals in college, I mean sure, I know a few people and say "hi" when I pass the in the corridors, but normally it's just me and my gang. Well, my class has a few good lookin females(to say the least) so it's no wonder one of my friends want to be more than friends with one of them... She's tall, cute, great bod and never went out 1 on 1 with a guy before, too good to be true? Hahaha... I'm not too sure myself, but that's what the dude claims. Needless to say, she was REAL popular in our class, and well, my friends was one of her friends... He wanted to say something bout the way he felt, but she's the kind that you get along with but doesn't open up easy, get whadda mean?( Angel in a jar =.=) Well, the story goes that after a few weeks, the girls finally tells him that he's nice but she feels pressured when talking to him(....wha?), so he gets real depressed af mopes around for the rest of the day(it was a friday so he didn't mope long) Well, this is where it gets.... complicated. It seems the girl still cares bout him, so when she saw how he was acting the rest of the day, she was worried... Maybe. How do I know this? Well, she told me. Messaged me. At 1 in the morning. Just when I was in a really intense battle on my ps2, my phone rang... *Boom boom J Holiday...* (Bed Intro). Then... I lost. W&#%F Needless to say, I was not all smiles when I read the sms. It read: "Vincent, this is H*** J** (I was like... Who...? We don't hang out), sorry to bother you, but please do concern about KJ(the guy), he's has been really having a hard time. Take care of him, night..." While I read this, I was thinking, why didn't she just say that to him, and how the heck did she get MY phone number!? Of course, I didn't ask her (that would just be rude!), after that I didn't give it a second thought... Back to pwning the boss! {15mins later} The phone rang... %&$%^!!!! OMG! Who izit now!? And it read: " Oh, btw. I got your number when KJ used your phone to sms me. ^^ " Uh... I didn't ask anything... but since she was nice enough to tell:
"Thx, I was wondrin hw u got my no. Don't remember givin it cpt 2 my frens... "
Reply: "Owh... So I not ur fren la? >.<"(..... the heck? I didn't even recognise your name)

Anyways... this little charade kept up for 2 hours, before I couldn't take nemore and said I wanna hit the hay. Next morning? 1st thing I saw on my phone, msg from: her. ...?? OK.... Well, that was the case for the next 2 days, till monday. Today. When I saw her, she was all smiles and really friendly. Joking, laughing at my weakest jokes... What's up with that? Somebody help! I mean, she's know for the friendly nature, but also for the fact the she doesn't open up easy, and she sticks to her gang(better put, they stick to her). AND what's worse, my friend kept giving me disgusted looks... bloody HELL!

So now, I"m stuck. My friend think I ngau yi sou (steall ppl wife) and I'm not sure bout the signals the girl's sending. Am I reading too much into it? or Is there a hidden agenda somewhere here? So peeps, gimme some comments, what should I do? I know I said to keep calm when all's been shot to hell, but I really need some advice. Speak up, and you shall be heard! Til nextime!
